Overview

TDI Vertical was engaged by a manufacturer (Client) to assist with the modernization of data center firewall services.

Due to an outdated firewall platform and firewall design, the Client was continuously affected by firewall outages and system failures, leading to production downtime and significant loss of business.

Modernization of data center firewall services was performed based on a multi-phase strategy allowing TDI Vertical and the Client to understand the existing state of data center firewall services and to select and implement technology essential to the security, day-to-day operations, and future business growth.

Discover / Envision

TDI Vertical performed a holistic evaluation of the data center firewall services, including a review of the current configuration, traffic flows, and security rules and services, providing TDI Vertical and the Client with a complete understanding of the current design, firewalls services, and their impact on the data center services and business.

Collaborative envisioning workshops were held to discuss the current state of the data center firewalls, existing challenges, and business and security requirements for the modernization of data center firewalls.

Information collected throughout the evaluation phase allowed TDI Vertical to recommend and align firewall solution essential to the security, day-to-day operations, and the future growth of the business.
