Overview
TDI Vertical was engaged by a Legal firm (Client) to design and implement SASE/SSE to strengthen security posture across their enterprise, including HQ, multiple branch locations, and on-premises and cloud data centers.
SASE /SSE aimed to provide a cloud-driven single vendor network and security architecture, providing centralized management, orchestration, and unified policy for on-premises and remote user workforce.
Implementation of SASE/SSE was performed leveraging proven methodology allowing Client to test-drive and select a solution focusing on security and business-critical needs.
Discover / Envision
TDI Vertical performed discovery and analysis of the Client network and security architecture to understand the current state of all services.
Collaborative envisioning workshops were held with the Client to discuss security and critical business requirements for SASE/SSE.
Solution test drives were performed to test and validate technical and security aspects of multiple SASE and SSE market offerings.
Solution Design
TDI Vertical developed SASE/SSE design based on single vendor architecture selected during the discover and envision activities.
- Design to migrate legacy WAN architecture to a Meraki SD-WAN.
- Design to integrate Meraki SD-WAN with Cisco Umbrella SIG for centralized cloud-driven security policy, orchestration, and analytics.
- Design to secure remote user workforce and integration with Cisco Secure Client and Cisco Umbrella SIG.
- Onboarding of cloud data centers onto Meraki SD-WAN and Cisco Umbrella SIG SASE fabric.
- Implementation, production rollout, and post-implementation support framework.
Deliver / Deploy
SASE/SSE solution was implemented based on a design and technical framework established during the solution design.
Use of Cloud-driven network and security services, including software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN), secure web gateway (SWG), cloud access security broker (CASB), DNS-layer security, firewall-as-a-service (FWAAS), and many more, provided Client with means to protect the business and access to data and critical applications.
Implementation of single-vendor SASE/SSE architecture enabled the Client to achieve zero trust architecture powered by cloud-driven security policy, centralized management, orchestration, and end-to-end visibility and analytics.
